About the film

'Dawn of the Dead' in the mall and 'Day of the Dead' at the fort. This is how PIX has presented zombie films in the recent years. The time has now come to take a trip to the countryside with a detour back in time to George A. Romero's cult classic 'Night of the Living Dead'. Zombie films should be seen on location, and to round off PIX's Romero trilogy, the festival, in collaboration with Vallekilde Høsjkole and Vig Bio, will take the fast and lucky ones who secured a ticket on a trip to the deserted roads of the countryside. In 'Night of the Living Dead', a group of survivors seek refuge in a barricaded house, when the dead are resurrected from the grave, hungry for fresh blood. Here, they try with all means to keep the wobbling corpses outside, and thereby survive the night of the living dead. Jump on the bus out of town and relive the scenes from Romero's film in the right setting.
